I recently had the opportunity to photograph Nevada's most important appellant attorney, and Boston College alumni Dan Polsenberg for BC Law Magazine. Polsenberg has argued more than 250 cases in front of the Nevada Supreme Court. He routinely argues cases that affect some of Nevada's most important laws. I asked him if he gets nervous before he goes to trial, and he said "after about the 85th case I stopped throwing up." He was nice enough to let me take his photo at two locations, the first was on The Strip, and the second was the Nevada Supreme courtroom in Las Vegas.
As someone who has traveled around the county, living in a van, I have always really liked the look of these teardrop shaped trailers with their stainless steel finish. I would have never though of turning it into a business, which is exactly what Victoria Hogan from Flora Pop did. Flora Pop is a full service, all inclusive pop-up wedding service. Hogan travels to various places around Las Vegas, uses the trailer as a sort of altar, and is licensed to officiate the wedding. We met near Nelson's Landing for the photos.
